Manchester Museum were looking to create an innovative learning initiative to get children excited about history. As part of that initiative, they needed a large replica of their building which needed to be easily transportable in order to tour schools around Manchester. The building also needed to be big enough to fit a class full of students and robust enough to house cabinets full of artefacts. For the replica to be a success the specification required the highest quality design and materials, so they came to Ingenious Structures.

The result of our design and engineering was a truly visionary, bespoke, 8-metre inflatable replica of the Manchester Museum. Equipped with inflatable cabinets full of artefacts and an HD projection room for lessons. When deflated the replica is lightweight and fits into a small 1 meter square case, and it takes a mere 30 minutes to inflate each time – perfect for transportion around Manchester. Plus! The exceptional quality of all of our materials ensures that the inflatable doesn’t lose shape throughout the deflation and inflation process at each school. Could an inflatable replica make your brand stand out?

The delivery of the inflatable museum marked the completion of yet another inflatable project by Inflatable Structures Ltd. that has been a huge success, being featured in a number of publications, including BBC News, BBC Newsround, The Manchester Evening News and Quays News.
